Sacramento Real Producers Cover Collection 2020-2022
Back when the pandemic started, a new Sacramento realtor magazine made its premiere on March 2020. Sacramento Real Producers Magazine, led by Katie MacDiarmid, brought to light some of the most successful realtors Sacramento has to offer…. so it was no surprise that Nick Sadek with Sotheby’s was the first to be featured on the cover, and I was so honored to have been the one to photograph him. Throughout the rest of 2020, I was able to meet and photograph some of the best in Sacramento’s real estate world and made some lasting connections along the way. My favorite part about these projects was the flexibility and creativity the magazine gave me to put a more personable approach to the standard professional realtor headshot, which introduced the reader to the realtor’s personal lives and hobbies through the lifestyle, editorial imagery along with the interview written within its pages.
2021 was a big year for me as I transitioned from working for a photo studio (can you believe I was there for 18 years!?) to being my own independent business. So, the covers and features took a break through 2021 and 2022, but I did make sure to photograph my friends Gail DeMarco and Jay Friedman with the Turner DeMarco Friedman Group for their covers. This led me to reaching back out to Katie to hop on board with being partnered with Sacramento Real Producers magazine for another fun year of visually telling the stories of Sacramento’s top realtors.
